For many years, the place to go in Ocala to hear live country music and dance, was Pappa's Honky Tonk.  Back in the '80's  Chad Brock started his singing career at that very place!  Young Bobby Tillander was manager.  Well, that club has LONG since closed.  But GUESS WHAT?   PAPPA'S is BACK !!  The old Stillwaters, on SR200, has been remodeled with a raised and enlarged dance floor.  Midnight Rodeo owner Bobby Tillander (yes, one and the same) is now the owner of the newly opened PAPPA'S HONKY TONK .  The grand opening was held May 5,6 & 7th. Award winning country artist (and Ocala's own) CHAD BROCK  was on hand to sing his chart topping songs, along with the' LUCKYTOWN' BAND straight from Nashville. They will be the house band.  Chad  presented  Bobby with his gold record to hang in PAPPA'S.  Country fans were wall to wall in the club and everyone had a great time!   PAPPA'S is keepin' it COUNTRY........I LIKE THAT !
