OCALA BREEDER
SALES HELD THE CHILI COOK-OFF FOR 15 YEARS, BUT THIS YEAR THE EVENT WAS
MOVED TO IT'S NEW LOCATION. THE SOUTHEASTERN LIVESTOCK PAVILION IS NOW
THE NEW LOCATION FOR THE EVENT.
THE MOVE SEEMED
TO BE VERY SUCCESSFUL, AS PEOPLE PACKED THE PAVILION ALL DAY. PARKING
WAS NOT A PROBLEM AS THERE WAS ACRES OF PARKING NEXT TO THE ARENA. AND
BEING CLOSER TO TOWN SEEMED TO BRING EVEN MORE PEOPLE.
40 TEAMS WERE
ENTERED THIS YEAR SO THERE WAS PLENTY OF VARITY IN TASTE AND 'HEAT' .
FROM MILD TO "OH MY GOSH, MY MOUTH IS ON FIRE!
WATER....WATER..."
THERE WERE SO
MANY DIFFERENT RECIPES, ONE I TASTED HAD BUTTERNUT SQUASH AND PUMPKIN IN
IT. IT WAS GOOD!!
I LOVE THE WAY
THEY GO ALL OUT TO DECORATE THE BOOTHS. EVERYONE HAS SO MUCH FUN AT
THIS EVENT. GOOD FAMILY FUN .
AND LET'S NOT FORGET, IT'S A FUNDRAISER FOR THE CORNERSTONE SCHOOL.
I CAN'T WAIT
